Today we read a poem called "Out, Out" by Robert Frost. He was a great man by the way. He spoke at John F. Kennedy's inauguration, which was an honor for both of them. This poem is referencing Shakespeare's Macbeth, it's about a young boy accidentally dying. His hand got cut off, so the doctors put him to sleep for surgery, and he never woke up. Just like that people procceded with their everyday lives. There are a couple different themes, but a main one is to live your short life to the fullest extent.
