         “The Negro Speaks of Rivers” by Langston Hughes was today's topic of discussion. It lets you know the some of the history behind the black race. We have been around since the beginning of time itself. This is also supported by evidence found over the years. Langston Hughes wrote this poem (his first) right after he graduated highschool.
