         We learned about complex texts in class today. These are things like books, poems, stories, basically any literary text. I read a poem called "We Real Cool" by Gwendolyn Brooks. I didn't really relate to it as much as other people, but understood what the author was saying. That aside, I'm going to enjoy my weekend.
